Did you know that when the Mai Tai cocktail first hit the scene in the 1940s-1950s, it was so popular that it allegedly depleted world rum supplies!? Inspired by the classic taste of the tropics, we've made a version with Paper Boat Artisanal Gin. What You'll Need: 1.5 oz Paper Boat Gin 0.5 oz Spiced Rum 0.5 oz Disaronno 0.5 oz Cointreau Juice of 1/2 a Lime Garnish: Lime Wheel + Edible Flower How You'll Make it: Fill your shaker with ice and add all of the ingredients. The gimlet is a classic cocktail that dates back to the 19th century and was initially crafted to cure what ails you. We've added a summery, sweet, modern twist to this classic cocktail with blueberry + chamomile syrup.
What You'll Need: 2.5 oz gin 3/4 oz blueberry + chamomile simple syrup Lemon Garnish: Chamomile flower and blueberries For the blueberry + chamomile syrup: 1/4 cup sugar 1/2 cup water 1/4 Blueberries Chamomile tea (1 bag) How You'll Make it: For the blueberry chamomile syrup, add water, sugar, and berries to a saucepan and simmer over low-med heat. Once the sugar is dissolved, remove from heat and muddle until all the berries are crushed. Add the chamomile tea bag to the hot syrup and steep for 3 minutes. Remove the tea bag, let it cool, and then strain it into a container. For the cocktail, fill your shaker with ice, 3/4 oz of blueberry + chamomile syrup, 2.5 oz of gin, and the juice of just under half a lemon and shake. Strain into a coupe and garnish with chamomile flowers and blueberries. Dive in! It is light and refreshing, bursting with juicy grapefruit and balanced with subtle woodsy rosemary; you can expect a fruity and herbaceous cocktail that pairs perfectly with summertime.
What You'll Need: 2 oz rosemary-infused gin 3 oz fresh squeezed pink grapefruit juice 1 oz simple syrup Soda water Garnish: Rosemary sprig & grapefruit wedge For the rim: Lemon, lime, or grapefruit wedge 1 Tbsp Course Sea Salt 1/2 cup Sugar 2 Tbsp Grapefruit zest How You'll Make it: Add a few bunches of rosemary to your gin bottle and leave it in a cool, dark place for 24 hours. Add infused gin, grapefruit juice, and simple syrup to a cocktail shake with ice. Shake until icy cold. We've infused this cocktail with lavender to create a balance of delicate floral notes with a refreshing splash of citrus that everyone will love. What You'll Need: ½ oz lemon juice (roughly half a lemon) 1 oz lavender simple syrup 2 oz gin 1 egg white or 2 Tbsp aquafaba Garnish with lavender buds & lemon twist For the lavender simple syrup: ½ cup water ½ cup sugar 2 Tbsp lavender buds How You'll Make It: Make lavender simple syrup: Add water, sugar, and lavender buds to a saucepan over med-low heat until sugar is dissolved. Let cool. Add lemon juice, lavender simple syrup, gin, and egg white to a cocktail shaker and dry shake vigorously for 30 seconds. Add ice to the shaker and shake until chilled. Strain into a coupe and garnish with lavender. Dive in! What You'll Need: 2 oz gin 6 strawberries Strawberry mint (or regular mint) Half a lemon Sugar Soda water Ice Step One: In a shaker place five halved strawberries, mint and 1 1/2 teaspoons of sugar and muddle. Step Two: Once ingredients are combined add the juice of almost half a lemon, 2 oz of your favourite gin and ice. Shake. Step Three: Pour over ice, top with soda water.
